Arsenal and Spurs settle for a point in the North London Derby

While things went completely wrong in Amsterdam during De Klassieker, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur did treat the viewers to a spectacle during the North London Derby. Thanks to standout performances from Bukayo Saka and Heung-min Son, the match ended in a 2-2 draw at the Emirates.

Arsenal achieved a good result against PSV midweek in the Champions League, and the Spurs are also on a good run. The Gunners took the lead at home after just under half an hour.

Saka's shot was deflected by Cristian Romero and ended up in the net. However, Son equalized fifteen minutes later.

The teams went into halftime with a 1-1 score and repeated what had happened earlier in the second half. Saka gave Arsenal a new lead from the penalty spot, but a minute later, the ball was in the net at the other end again, once more by Son. In injury time, Arsenal searched for the victory but couldn't secure it. The draw keeps Arsenal and Spurs level on points: Spurs are in fourth place, and Arsenal is in fifth due to goal difference.
