Crysencio Summerville's journey with Leeds United took a notable turn when he joined the club in the winter of 2021.

Following an impactful stint of 34 matches in the Premier League, Summerville faced the challenge of helping Leeds navigate through the 2022/23 season, which ultimately ended in relegation. In the aftermath of such setbacks, clubs often witness a significant departure of players, but Summerville, demonstrating unwavering loyalty, chose to remain with Leeds, a decision that is now proving to be rewarding for the team.

In a recent match against Wayne Rooney's Birmingham City on Monday, Leeds emerged victorious with a resounding 3-0 scoreline, and Summerville played a pivotal role by netting the final goal. This goal marked his twelfth in the Championship, complemented by six assists, a testament to his considerable impact on the team's attacking prowess. Impressively, Summerville achieved these eighteen direct contributions to goals in 1,821 minutes of playtime.

When comparing Summerville's performance in the Championship to other players with over five hundred minutes played, his efficiency stands out. No other player in the Championship is involved in as many goals per ninety minutes as Summerville. While Adam Armstrong leads the tally with thirteen goals and nine assists, he has logged more playing time for Southampton than Summerville has for Leeds.

At just 22 years old, Summerville has emerged as Leeds' key player in terms of goals and assists. His impact surpasses that of teammates such as Dan James and Georginio Rutter, both contributing to thirteen goals each, and Joël Piroe, who has recorded nine goals and one assist this season.

Currently occupying the fourth position in the Championship, Leeds is on course for playoff football, with a seven-point gap separating them from second-placed Ipswich Town. Promotion to the Premier League remains within reach, as the top two clubs secure direct advancement. Summerville's dedication and performance are undeniably integral to Leeds United's ambitions for a successful season.
