The 24-year-old Zaandammer expressed his happiness in an interview with Stats Perform about the opportunity presented to him by AFC Bournemouth to be active in the Premier League. 'To end up in the Premier League, that's the best league in the world. I can confidently say I have a lot in my bag, and I can't wait to take it all onto the field and showcase it in this amazing competition.'

During the preseason, the son of Patrick Kluivert mentioned that he primarily watched videos on YouTube. 'I watched a lot of Cristiano Ronaldo. Eden Hazard in his prime days at Chelsea was incredible in my opinion. Those are the players I enjoy watching, or maybe Heung-min Son - someone like that, a player who goes straight towards the goal - that's what I like.'

The former Ajax player also closely followed Erling Haaland's performances in the past season, which ultimately resulted in 36 goals in the Premier League. 'Of course. You always have to look at the guys who are successful in what they do. You learn a lot from a player like Haaland or players who have previously played in England, like Ronaldo or Hazard.'

Kluivert made the switch from AS Roma to Bournemouth this summer, becoming the fourth player with a club in all five top leagues. The winger moved from Ajax to Italian club AS Roma in 2018, where he was loaned to RB Leipzig (Germany), OGC Nice (France), and Valencia (Spain). The Cherries will kick off the season next Saturday with a home match against West Ham United.
