Because the Fussballiebe, as the Euro ball is called, features special Connected Ball Technology from Adidas, it can be tracked even more effectively. This contributes to the decision-making process of the referees and VAR during the European tournament.

UEFA Director Zvonimir Boban is confident that the new ball meets the high standards required at a European Championship. 'The Fussballiebe marks the next step in our commitment to excellence,' says the Croatian in a press release.

The Euro ball is made from sustainable materials such as recycled polyester, water-based ink, corn fibers, sugar cane, wood pulp, and rubber. The design is inspired by the energy and diversity of the European Championship and the love that Europe has for football.
